Product Introduction

Rail Flaw Detector GT-20 has an innovative design of the third generation of railway dedicated fully digital, portable hand push rail ultrasonic flaw detection equipment.

The equipment fully meets the requirements of TB/T 2340-2012 "Rail Ultrasonic Flaw Detector" standard issued by the Ministry of Railways. It is suitable for flaw detection of 43kg/m ~ 75kg/m rail and can efficiently detect various defects of rail head, rail waist and rail bottom. It is suitable for various rail detection applications such as general railway, high-speed railway and subway.

The instrument adopts ultrasonic host + operation terminal mode and wireless WIFI connection to improve customer operation experience and expand the Internet + function of the instrument, which can realize man-machine detection separation, online and offline real-time storage of data, GPS positioning, data cloud storage and other functions. And we can customize our own ultrasonic operating terminal according to the needs of customers.

Environmental Suitability

Compact structure, sturdy and durable, anti-shock and interference-resisting, staying in good condition under 15℃-45℃, IP65, applicable to railway environment.

Integrated probe holder for easy uninstallation, raincoats for the devices, 8+hours battery life, and monobloc tank of large capacity meant for loading water and depositing tools, ensuring lasting outdoor work.

Operational Advancement

Split structure – “client (tri-proof tablet computer) + server (UT instrument)” via WIFI LAN or even projected to other “T” s such as mobile phone, highly portable and fashionable.

“9+1” channels of probes in Turn shooting in the direction respectively of 0, 37 and 70 degrees to cover all critical parts of the rail with the “+” channel reserved for verification, to perfect a “railway run”.

Data Accessibility

Provided with replay app to make off-line operation such smart replay, event filtering, statistics, searching, printing and exporting on the saved files.

Cloud storage allows the users to avail themselves anywhere of the resources uploaded to cyber space, especially for OS updating.

D/A Properties

For SW Probe (SDHs of the same size ant different BOs) and LW Probe (LFBs at different BPs), the echo amp difference △W-LW (0°)/SW (37°):

△W≤12dB (20mm to where strongest)

△W≤8dB (where strongest to 150mm)

SW (70°): △W≤12dB (10mm-70mm)

SNR

l  LW Probe (0°):

Sensitivity Surplus≥24dB (LFB of GTS-60, 80% amp)

SNR≥16dB

l  SW Probe (37°):

Static sensitivity surplus≥22dB (with the echoes of a screwhole and a 37° slanting 3mm-crack of GTS-60 both at 80% amp)

SNR≥8dB

l  SW Probe (70°):

Sensitivity Surplus≥20dB

(φ4mm FBH of GTS-60, 80% amp)

SNR≥10dB

Working Voltage Affection on the Echo Amplitude and Sensitivity

Within the rated working voltage; no obvious variation of the gate start and the noise level; the shifts of echo amplitude (△Nd) and that of sensitivity (△Sd) are less than 1dB

Attenuator Error

Within ±1dB per 12dB

Range

Manual or auto according to the set rail type

Sensitivity Surplus

l  Probe (0°): ≥36dB (80% amp, LFB X 110 – WGT-3 block)

l  Probe (37°/70°): ≥40dB (80% amp, SDHφ3x65-WGT-3 block)

Dynamic Range

≥16dB with the least “reject” and 2dB-6dB with the most reject

Signal Resolution

All artificial flaws on GTS-60 test block except 15°lower crack can be detected by 0°, 37° and 70° probes and indicated by the alarm

Reject

No/Great

Blockage

≤20mm

Response Duration

≤5ms

Sampling Error

The jump of a signal from min to max is less than ±5 of the screen’s full-level

Reject Affection

The amplitude difference between two echoes varies within 2db if they are 10dB±2dB different
